Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is in a very quiet area at the top of the building, which is great for a peaceful stay, but the rooms could use some updating and better curtains. The service was outstanding, with the staff being incredibly accommodating and even catering to specific requests. The location is ideal for exploring the waterfront and nearby attractions, but parking might be a bit challenging. The dining experience had its ups and downs, with some dishes being excellent while others fell short. Overall, a mixed but memorable stay with room for improvement.
I absolutely loved my stay at the hotel! The location was superb, being just a short walk from the Clifton suspension bridge and surrounded by fantastic restaurants in Clifton. The rooms were cozy and well-appointed, bathed in sunlight in the morning, although a touch of decor refurbishment wouldn't hurt. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and were incredibly helpful, even assisting with my luggage both on arrival and departure. The dining experience was excellent, offering a good variety and great value for money, but the timing for meals could be slightly extended. Overall, a great experience with some minor room for improvement.
I absolutely loved my stay at the hotel! The rooms were perfectly clean and cozy, offering a nice view. While the 52 steps to reach the room might be a challenge for some, I didn't mind at all. The friendly service from Patricia, Hannah, Ross, and Dorothea really made my stay special. The location was ideal for visiting my son at Bristol Uni, close to shops and restaurants. The dining experience was mixed, with a cold cooked meal but outstanding eggs Benedict. Overall, a great value for money with convenient parking if you arrive early enough.
The hotel is perfectly located with easy access to bars, coffee shops, and historical sites. The rooms were a bit small and uncomfortably hot even with the window open, but the atmosphere was pleasant. The staff was friendly and helpful, making the overall stay enjoyable.
